Yair led the PM team for the core remittance product, optimizing monetization, UX, and frameworks for mature vs. emerging opportunities while integrating new product offerings. Invested in simplifying the cost vs. speed tradeoff in key corridors, generating $7 million. Launched a new contextual homepage and navigation, enabling customers to resend with just two taps.

Yair led product teams for Banking, Investing, Personal Finance, the app’s homepage, and AI personalization. He focused on strategy, process, and managing 10 PMs to deliver impactful products. Key achievements include scaling digital banking to 1.5M customers, launching financial planning tools for underserved users, and driving a 130% engagement boost through AI-powered homepage personalization.

Gusto serves more than 300,000 businesses nationwide. Each year we process tens of billions of dollars of payroll and provide employee benefits.
Yair led the Gusto Wallet team, a new app that helps employees earn, save, spend, and borrow right within their Gusto account. Members watch their paycheck hit their account, create high-yield savings goals, get a smart spending account and debit card, and access their paycheck early using Cashout -- all through the Gusto Wallet app. Built and coached the product team, and led complex negotiations with bank partners to launch 3 new financial products and Gusto’s first mobile app. Launched the first ever cash advance built into payroll (patent 0US20230004968A1).

From becoming debt-free to growing investments, SoFi (NASDAQ: SOFI) empowers 10M members to achieve their financial goals.
Yair led the SoFi Invest product team, transforming it from a nascent robo-advisor into a full-fledged investment platform and growing the customer base to 1M members. He deepened integration with SoFi’s lending products, scaled the robo-advisor, launched a stock trading platform, and integrated with Coinbase Pro for crypto trading.

SigFig builds Robo-Advisor solutions for large financial institutions such as Wells Fargo and UBS.
Yair led the creation of one of the first Robo-Advisor mobile apps along with a team of PMs, engineers, and designers. SigFig's consumer mobile app won the Google Play "Editors’ Choice" award for 2016 under Yair's leadership. In addition, Yair spearheaded the UBS innovation lab where he ran design sprints with top financial advisors to envision, define, and prototype compelling product ideas that drive business outcomes.

In 2012, Yair recognized the need to help sales professionals identify business opportunities in their busy news feeds across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Yair created an app that used natural language processing to find out when someone experienced a life event, reply to them quickly, build relationships at scale, and send them physical gifts. As the CEO of Slim, Yair was responsible for setting the vision, raising a seed round, recruiting a team of 4 engineers, developing marketing strategies, getting featured on TechCrunch, and scaling the product to 30,000 users. Yair led a team that built one of the first-ever wealth management rebalancing engines, designed intricate CRMs, developed a new company website, and created marketing campaigns to launch new financial products. For three years, Yair served as a tank commander in the Israel Defense Forces, where he planned, designed, and conducted over a dozen operations. In 2004, he was honorably discharged as a First Sergeant.
