Yair leads the Gusto Wallet team, which is in charge of a new app that helps employees earn, save, spend, and borrow right within their Gusto account. Members watch their paycheck hit their account, create high-yield savings goals, get a smart spending account and debit card, and access their paycheck early using Cashout -- all through the Gusto Wallet app. Built and managed a team of product managers and helped scale the mission from 5 to 45 people. SigFig is a fintech B2B SaaS company, licensing robo-advisor solutions to large financial institutions.
Yair led the creation of one of the first robo-advisor mobile apps along with a team of PMs, engineers, and designers. Gusto’s consumer mobile app won the Google Play "Editors’ Choice" award for 2016. Yair played a key role in the delivery of the first large-scale enterprise implementations of a robo-advisor for Wells Fargo, UBS, and Citizens bank. In addition, Yair led the UBS innovation lab where he ran design sprints with top financial advisors to envision, define, and prototype compelling product ideas that drive business outcomes. In 2012, Yair recognized the need to help sales professionals identify business opportunities in their busy news feeds across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. Slim was a mobile app that used natural language processing to find out when someone was having a life event, easily reply to them, build relationships at scale, and send them physical gifts. As the CEO of Slim, Yair was responsible for setting the vision, raising a seed round, building a team of 4 engineers, developing marketing strategies, getting featured on TechCrunch, and scaling the product to 30,000 users. For three years, Yair served as a tank commander in the Israel Defense Forces, where he planned, designed, and conducted over a dozen operations. In 2004, he was honorably discharged as a First Sergeant.
